Title X Annual Progress Report: Title X grantees with a project period end date of March 31, 2022, should submit their Annual Progress Report by June 30, 2022.

Title X Final Report: The Final Report for all Title X grantees is due 120 days after the end of the grantee’s project period.

Survey on Rebranding National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month
OPA has sponsored National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month (NTPPM) each May for several years. Starting this year, OPA would like to rebrand NTPPM and expand its focus to address adolescent health more broadly. It is seeking input from people who work in the fields of adolescent and sexual and reproductive health on potential new names for the observance and weekly themes for this inaugural year. To share your thoughts, please complete this short survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes, by March 14, 2022. Your input is greatly appreciated.

FPAR 2.0 Waivers for Title X Dire Need Cohort
Current Dire Need cohort grantees must submit the waiver application to report aggregate data for data collected from January-December 2022 (Data Collection Year 2022) by March 25, 2022, 8:00 p.m. ET. OPA will communicate decisions to grantees by April 22, 2022. Please submit waiver applications to FPARSupport@mathematica-mpr.com with "Dire Need FPAR 2.0 Waiver" in the subject line.

A three-episode podcast series from the Reproductive Health National Training Center (RHNTC) explores the Reproductive Well-Being Framework and how family planning providers can use this approach to support clients to make their own decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.
Promising Practices for Expanding Students Awareness and Use of School-Based Family Planning Services
With funding from OPA, a Child Trends brief highlights strategies practitioners can use to increase use of family planning services offered by school-based health centers. Researchers recommend that practitioners and other health center staff build trust and familiarity with students by connecting both in and out of the classroom. Practitioners should also consider collaborating with students in their efforts to develop and implement outreach and awareness initiatives.

This job aid from the RHNTC provides answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) that Title X clinical services providers, billing staff, and/or grantee staff may have about coding for family planning services, preventive medicine visits, and telehealth visits.
Affinity Group - Staffing Challenges and Opportunities
TODAY, March 8, 2022, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET The RHNTC invites TPP20 Tier 1 Project Directors and managers who are tasked with managing and recruiting staff to join an affinity group on staffing challenges and opportunities. Participants will discuss how they are addressing challenges and share successful strategies for recruiting and retaining staff and establishing supportive work environments.
Request Technical Assistance
The RHNTC offers free, individualized technical assistance (TA) to support TPP grantees. TPP grantee agencies can request TA focusing on a topic, issue, or challenge specific to your agency and related to any aspect of program implementation. Grantees are eligible to participate in one TA engagement between October 2021 and September 2022. If your agency is interested, submit a request by March 18, 2022.

Call for Studies - HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Evidence Review
Mathematica® Inc. seeks studies to include in a systematic review of the evidence base on programs that impact teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and associated sexual risk behaviors. Mathematica® is conducting the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Evidence Review for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, the Administration on Children, Youth and Families, and the Office of Population Affairs, all in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Submissions are due by April 15, 2022.
HHS Issues Guidance on Gender-Affirming Care
The HHS Office for Civil Rights issued guidance saying gender-affirming care for children bolsters their mental and physical health when medically appropriate and necessary.
Secretary Becerra Visits Title X Clinic
Last Friday, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and HHS ASH Admiral Rachel L. Levine visited Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, a Title X grantee in New Hampshire, and thanked them for the work they do to provide gender-affirming sexual and reproductive healthcare.
