Minor modifications have been made to Ryan White Program Policy Clarification Notices (PCNs) 13-03, 13-04, 13-05 and 13-06.  These modifications were made to ensure clarity and language consistency. HRSA launched Provider Marketplace Toolkit, a one-stop-shop for providers to get the information necessary to inform their patients and community members about coverage options available in their state. With the Health Insurance Marketplace opening October 1, it will be especially important for health care providers, site administrators and faculty – often the most trusted sources for health information – to know where to direct individuals and families for the most current and accurate resources.

At the Provider Marketplace Toolkit, providers can:

•  Earn CME/CE credit through trainings on preventative services covered by the ACA 
• Review fact sheets, including 10 Things Providers Need to Know and 10 Things to Tell Your Patients about the Health Insurance Marketplace 
• Access state-specific Marketplace and consumer assistance information 
• Download resources for patients, including a step-by-step coverage enrollment guide 
• Use Health Insurance Marketplace PowerPoint presentations to help educate colleagues and students 
• Share resources through social media by simply clicking the Facebook, Twitter and/or Google+ icons 
• Click on links to Healthcare.gov (Spanish: Cuidadodesalud.gov) and Marketplace.cms.gov for additional resources for consumers and providers, respectively

  • Reiterates HRSA policy regarding the use of RWHAP for premium and cost-sharing assistance for the purchase and maintenance of private health insurance coverage. It also provides RWHAP grantees and sub-grantees with additional guidance on using RWHAP funds for premium and cost-sharing assistance.
    

• Clarifications Regarding Use of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Funds for Premium and Cost-Sharing Assistance for Medicaid: Policy Clarification Notice (PCN) #13-06; relates to HAB Policy #’s 10-02 and 7-05<
  • This policy clarification notice reiterates HRSA policy regarding the use of RWHAP for premium and cost-sharing assistance for clients eligible for Medicaid. It also provides RWHAP grantees and sub-grantees with additional guidance on using RWHAP funds for premium and cost-sharing assistance in the context of the Affordable Care Act.
