Mental Health Awareness Month

We provide timely and innovative technical assistance (TA) on behavioral health/substance use disorder (SUD) service integration topics you request. For example, opioid use disorder services, pediatric mental health services, and billing and coding. We offer TA in different formats: webinars and communities of practice, both on-site and virtual. AANHPI Heritage Month

HRSA's FY 2021 American Rescue Plan Funding for Native Hawaiian Health Care provided support to respond to and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and enhance health care services and infrastructure. Awardees used it to purchase new mobile units, hold COVID-19 vaccination events and distribute tests, hire outreach and enabling staff, and increase telehealth. This Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) month, take some time to watch videos produced by Papa Ola Lōkahi (one of the awardees) to hear stories of how this funding impacted local communities.

HRSA hosts virtual job fair events specifically for health centers that are NHSC-approved, giving you access to hundreds of qualified clinicians and NHSC scholars. ACU’s STAR² Center released updated individual health center recruitment and retention Data Profile Dashboards. They sent each health center’s CEO information on how to access the dashboards. We encourage CEOs to review them with their workforce teams, visit the STAR² Center website for supporting resources, and contact the STAR² Center to discuss.

Cervical Cancer ECHO Learning Series for Safety-Net Settings in U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands

HRSA’s Office of Women’s Health invites providers to participate in this virtual, collaborative learning series. It will empower safety-net settings of care in U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands (American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau) to improve cervical cancer prevention, screening, and management.
