What's New

New Annual Review Process for EHBs Users

Primary Authorizing Officials (AOs): HRSA has instituted a new policy that was announced a few months ago. For each user at your organization, you will receive an email notice prompting you to review their EHBs access. These emails will come annually on the anniversary of when the user first received access. If you do not act within 30 days of the email, that user will lose access.

To avoid unnecessary emails, update the list of those who have access:

  • Go into the Organization Folder in EHBs and find the users list.
  • Manually remove people who are no longer associated with your health center or no longer need access.

This announcement echoes the EHBs message HRSA sent to Primary AOs.

If your organization does not have a Primary AO, the notice goes to the Electronic Business Point of Contact (POC) listed in SAM.gov. Keep the Electronic Business POC and the Alternate Electronic Business POC information updated at SAM.gov. Outdated information may result in people losing EHBs access.

Learn more on the EHBs Knowledge Base website.

DUE THURSDAY: Bridge Funding Reporting Requirement – Health Center COVID-19 Survey

Health centers using HRSA COVID-19 Bridge funds are required to complete the monthly Health Center COVID-19 Survey. The May 3 survey is due by 11:59 p.m. your local time on Thursday, May 9. Please ONLY report April data in this survey.

If your health center received a project period extension for using Expanding COVID-19 Vaccination (ECV) funds, you are also expected to continue reporting via the survey until your extension concludes.

Our COVID-19 Data Collection Survey Tool User Guide can help you understand how to report. If you still have questions, use the BPHC Contact Form (COVID-19 > COVID-19 Surveys).

National Nursing Week

HRSA Celebrates National Nurses Week

Thank you to all the nurses working at and with health centers! The difference you make — in patients’ lives and in communities — cannot be measured.

See HRSA’s bulletin and join in the celebration of nurses across the nation.

Mother's Day

As Mother’s Day approaches, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of all mothers — present and future. We also celebrate your efforts to support maternal health and ensure that mothers receive quality care. We're proud to share these highlights:

  • 2022 UDS data show that health center providers:
    • Delivered prenatal care to approximately 560,000 women; 72% of those women commenced prenatal care during the crucial first trimester.
    • Performed over 171,000 deliveries, ensuring safe and healthy births for countless families.
  • Last year, through the Quality Improvement Fund, HRSA awarded more than $65 million for maternal health to 35 health centers. These awardees are pioneering patient-centered models of care to improve outcomes, reduce disparities, and address the needs of mothers at the highest risk of complications.

A quick reminder about available resources:

  • National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: 24/7, free, confidential support before, during, and after pregnancy. Visit the Partner Toolkit website for promotional materials and more.
  • Learn the Signs. Act Early: Visit CDC’s website for child development resources and tips for providers. These support Bright Futures-recommended developmental surveillance activities within well-child visits for ages 2-months through 5 years.
