Call to Action on Congenital Syphilis

Last week, we published a bulletin to share a joint HRSA-CDC letter that addresses the increase in congenital syphilis cases nationwide and how we can respond to this concerning trend. It shares CDC’s latest national data on congenital syphilis and offers suggestions for how to work together to increase testing and treatment. Read the bulletin.

We hope you’ll join our STI Awareness Week (April 14-20) webinar, co-hosted with HRSA-funded Fenway Health. Speakers will discuss doxy-PEP — doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) — as an emerging tool against sexually transmitted infections (STI). They will explore the science, practical application considerations, and the potential public health impact.
