Policy Changes After the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) will end on May 11, 2023 but many of the telehealth flexibilities authorized during the PHE will extend through December 31, 2024. Help Patients Access Broadband Internet

A lack of reliable internet access is a major barrier to telehealth adoption. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) helps eligible households pay for internet services and internet connected devices. The program also provides funds for the one-time purchase of a new device like a computer or cell phone.
