Telehealth Policies after the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

Telehealth.HHS.gov offers resources, including information about recent policy changes that extended telehealth flexibilities after the COVID-19 PHE. Provider fact sheets about COVID-19 PHE waivers and flexibilities and Medicaid telehealth webpages are also available.

Scheduling a Telehealth Appointment

Many health care providers now provide telehealth services. You can contact your health care provider, health insurance or health center to find available options. The Medicare Care Compare tool also now identifies Medicare health care providers who offer telehealth services.

Expanding Broadband and Internet Access

The Affordable Connectivity Program helps eligible households pay for internet services and internet connected devices. Eligible households can fill out a form online, download a paper application, or work with a local internet company to apply.

The Broadband Equity Access and Deployment and State Digital Equity Planning Grant Programs aim to increase internet access. Contact your State Broadband Office to share about broadband needs if your community is underserved.
