Health Center Workforce Well-being Survey Kickoff HRSA’s Health Center Workforce Well-being Survey launches this week! We’ve updated the Timeline section of our webpage to include the geography-based schedule. The page also links to information about how we’ll keep your responses confidential and other frequently asked questions.
By taking the survey, you will contribute to the first ever nationwide picture of workforce well-being specifically at health centers. The results will inform HRSA’s strategies, policies, and programs, including targeted TA, to support workforce well-being and recruitment, and to reduce burnout.

Discussion Groups to Gather Feedback on Advancing Health Center Excellence Framework BPHC is seeking health centers to take part in virtual discussion groups to inform the refinement of the Health Center Excellence Framework and plan for the development of a Framework implementation guide. These resources will support health centers in using the Framework to support performance improvement activities, strategic planning, and more.
The discussion groups are planned for mid-January 2023. Participants will be asked to prepare for a two-hour meeting; preparation should take approximately one hour. If you are interested in taking part, email Alex Beede by COB on Tuesday, December 20.

Health Centers and the National Practitioner Data Bank Overview The National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) is a resource that supports health centers' commitment to providing quality care and protecting patient safety. HRSA presenters at an upcoming webinar will explore NPDB’s function, basic querying, and reporting procedures. They will also provide a brief walk-through of the NPDB attestation process. Per the Health Center Program Compliance Manual, health centers are required to query the NPDB during credentialing.

Second Annual Patient-Centered Medical Home Health Equity TA Symposium: March 29-30, 2023 BPHC will host the second annual Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Health Equity TA Symposium on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, 2023. Participants will hear about and discuss best practices and lessons learned from peers and experts in the fields of health equity, quality improvement, and accreditation/recognition. COVID-19
COVID-19 Bivalent Vaccines for Patients Ages 5 and Under Available for Pre-Order Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program participants* may now pre-order Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent vaccine for children ages 6 months through 4 years and Moderna bivalent vaccine for children ages 6 months through 5 years. Health centers may order 100 doses per site. Submit your order as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, December 5, at noon ET.
If this product is authorized by the FDA and recommended by CDC’s ACIP, pre-ordered doses will be processed for delivery. If the appropriate approvals and guidance are issued, ordering will follow the vaccine program’s weekly cadence. The updated COVID-19 Vaccination Program Operational Guidance includes more information about bivalent vaccines for patients ages 5 and under. HRSA will share information when available.

Anxiety and Depression: Screening and Intervention within an Integrated Care Setting Depression and anxiety disorders are among the most common illnesses in primary care. This webinar will discuss the prevalence of anxiety and major depressive disorder in the United States with respect to gender, ethnicity, and age, review recent recommendations regarding anxiety screening, identify comorbidities associated with anxiety and major depression, orient participants to the PHQ-9 and GAD-7, and identify intervention strategies within an integrated care setting.

Speakers will share evidence-based practices that improve maternal health outcomes and prevent adverse events; data gaps and challenges to widespread SMBP use; and emerging solutions to increase SMBP use. Oral Health Workforce Learning Collaborative The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved’s (ACU) STAR2 Center invite health centers to join a learning collaborative.
