Return to the Workplace

A Recap of Key Resources
We developed this recap of Return to the Workplace resources for you to refer to as we move forward in a hybrid work environment. We will phase out the "Return to the Workplace" section of the Insider, but will continue to provide relevant information, resources, and updates on the future of our workplace model.

What's New

Cubical

Reserve Your Space at 5600!
As mentioned in the resources above, use the HRSA Hoteling System to reserve a space at 5600. It is essential to use the hoteling system in lieu of “squatting” in an open space to ensure you are accounted for in case of an emergency.

If two people arrive at the same space, only the employee with the confirmation code for that space will be able to work there for the day.

N95 Mask

HRSA Health Center COVID-19 N95 Mask Program Ended Monday
The HRSA Health Center COVID-19 N95 Mask Program began on Monday, January 17, to distribute high quality N95 masks to underserved communities and populations through health centers. It concluded this past Monday, June 20.

Health centers with questions about their orders should contact BPHC via the BPHC Contact Form (COVID-19 > COVID-19 N95 Mask Distribution Program).

Updated BPHC Style Guide
We recently made updates to the BPHC Style Guide. This resource consolidates guidance from HRSA, HHS, GPO, and AP, and describes how this guidance should be applied for different types of writing. The Style Guide also contains a table of commonly used BPHC-specific terminology, clarifying preferences for capitalization and acronym usage, as well as a list of COVID-19 terminology and special guidelines for the Primary Health Care Digest and BPHC Insider newsletters.

Andre Tomlinson

Getting to Know: Andre Tomlinson
Meet Andre Tomlinson, Investment Oversight Advisor, Service Expansion Investment Management, OHCIO:

Before working at BPHC, the most unusual or interesting job I ever had: Working as a dishwasher for the restaurant Friendly’s while I was in high school. After that, working in a janitorial capacity as my first job after earning a four-year degree. Those life experiences were invaluable in developing the character of the person you are reading about today! Now I’m able to “walk with kings and not lose the common touch.”

Favorite book: "Leaders Made Here" by Mark Miller. (It just so happens that I am reading this book currently.)

Hidden talent: Storytelling.

As a child, I wanted to be when I grew up: A star football player for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The most outrageous thing I ever ate: A starfish.

Learn more about Andre, and email BPHC Insider to submit your name for a future Getting to Know.
