NIH Launches All of Us Research Program
NIH launched the All of Us Research Program this week, which aims to enable the research breakthroughs that
will facilitate precision medicine. To achieve this, the program will need to
build a community of one million or more people who will share their
information (through surveys and electronic health records and, in some cases,
wearable devices) for at least a decade. The data will be made available to
researchers so that over time they can learn more about how an individual’s
environment, lifestyle, and genetics can influence their health.
