increase awareness of education pipeline programs and share innovative, best
practices regarding the need to recruit and retain underrepresented minorities
(URM) to strengthen the health workforce.
Objectives:
- Provide the federal perspective on
the shortage of racial and ethnic diversity in the health workforce and the
value of education pipeline programs.

best practice strategies for health workforce pipeline programs.

The Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) programs provide financial support to institutions and individuals to enhance training programs and support practice in underserved communities.
The Workforce Grand Rounds webinar series' goal is to improve health professions training with the intention to increase the number of high-quality health professionals, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
