This week was Public Service Recognition Week, during which we celebrated the contributions of dedicated public servants with colleagues from across our agency, the General Services Administration, and with other agencies across the federal government. Code for America Summit
May 16-17, 2023 in Washington, D.C.
Members of our program team as well as some current Fellows will be at the Code for America Summit next week in Washington, D.C. Drop into a session on Wednesday led by U.S. Digital Corps Fellows Chizo Nwagwu and Trey Gordner called "Building by the rules: a crash course in policy for product people" or stop by our booth in the exhibit space!
Render ATL

Are you planning on attending Render ATL later this month in Atlanta? Join the U.S. Digital Corps and our colleagues at the U.S. Digital Service for a post-conference panel conversation and networking event on June 1 from 5-7pm ET, just two blocks from the conference! The event, at Switchyards Downtown Club, will feature representatives from both organizations sharing opportunities for technologists at all career levels.

We will be opening positions soon for Fellow Experience Supervisors in our product management and data science & analytics tracks!
We are looking for experienced managers to join our program team and help coach and grow the emerging leaders in the U.S. Digital Corps.
U.S. Digital Corps Fellow Experience Supervisors are experienced technologists and use their discipline-specific knowledge and excellence in coaching and leadership to directly manage and support a cohort of USDC Fellows within their technical discipline as well as contribute the growth of the U.S. Digital Corps program overall.

U.S. Digital Corps and our colleagues at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency joined Handshake's "Go for .gov" virtual event in March to talk about opportunities for entry-level technologists looking to launch careers in the federal government.
You can watch a full recording here, and here are some tips and insights we shared:
- Government has great benefits (health, retirement, etc.), work-life balance, and job security.
- There’s nothing like being able to go home after work each day knowing that you did work on behalf of the American public.
- Application processes in government can be long but this ensures equity for all candidates.
