U.S. Digital Corps overview
The U.S. Digital Corps is a new opportunity for early-career technologists to begin their careers at the intersection of technology and public service and work to improve how government serves Americans equitably and efficiently in a digital age.
The Digital Corps is a paid, two-year program starting in June 2022 with pathways to permanent, career federal positions. Fellows will be able to work remotely, hybrid, or in person subject to agency policies and will receive competitive salary and benefits. For example, Washington, D.C.-based Fellows will have a starting salary just above $80,000.
Fellows will work on high-impact projects at host agencies including Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Read more about the Digital Corps in this post written by the Chief Technology Officer of the VA, Charles Worthington.
