Shout out to the FAS Reimbursable Agreements Branch (BGF)!
Thank you to the entire Reimbursable Agreements Team for your seemingly endless time and efforts on processing year end Agreements and Certifications. I know its extremely demanding and exhausting, but we really appreciate the drive to ensure everything is processed timely and accurately. Thank you all!

Shout out to Hilary Busbee, Grace Jeon, Dan Icitovic, Sophie Rybacki, Vivi Tran-Chu, and William Spelker (all BIC)!
A HUGE shout out to Hilary Busbee, Sophie Rybacki, Grace Jeon, Dan Icitovic, and Will Spelker of the BIC team for another outstanding year in meeting the ever-increasing requests for coding, data, website support, and financial reporting. Together, this group addressed 1,600 such requests in FY 2024. In addition to operations and maintenance support, the group completed 20 strategic initiatives to provide greater access to and understanding of financial data and reporting. Of course, none of this would be possible without the tireless work of our fearless leader, Vivi Tran-Chu. Congratulations, team! I am excited to see what you have in store for FY 2025.

Shout out to James Nastasi (BR2L)!
Huge shout out to James Nastasi for assisting with submitting requests and lease amendments to the OCFO Centralized Processing Group (CPG) for water testing in Zone 2. James’ efforts during the final days of fiscal year 2024 ensured that obligations were processed timely. James has provided exceptional customer service by routinely following-up with lease administration managers, lease contracting officers, and CPG and has made a new process as seamless as possible. Thank you, James.

Shout out to Josh Grannon (BR2F)!
Josh has a talent for pulling reports and creating dashboards. He is always willing to help out other zones pull data and organize it. He recently helped Zone 3 FM pull a report for water testing open obligations even though he has his own Zone 2 work to do. He also helped with year end reporting requests. He responded quickly, professionally, and with a helpful attitude. Josh is such a great asset to GSA/OCFO and he needs to be recognized for the fantastic work he does. From FM Zone 3 to FM Zone 2, Thank you Josh!!

Don't Forget! The Career Planning and Training Tool is Here to Help
The CFO Council's (CFOC) Career Planning and Training Tool has recently undergone a revision to its functionality to make it easier to identify courses that align with the CFOC’s core competencies for the financial management job series (501, 510, 511 and 565). You can start using the tool by clicking on the job series and GS-level filters. Career guidance in the form of virtual cards will display in the center of the screen and below.
Each virtual card will include information about a competency, including a general description, relevant behaviors, and proficiency levels. The cards will also contain embedded links to vendor courses that will help you master aspects of each competency. The partner vendors offer a wide array of course types and learning modalities, including on-line, on-site, hybrid, micro-learning, cohort style, and many more. These courses are available for purchase via government purchase card (note - purchases on government purchase cards are limited to $10,000; most courses are significantly less than that).
Try it today and give your professional development a boost!
