Shout out to Rodney MCMillin, Jeremy Farmer, and Thomas Locum (all BD2E)!
When FSD was unable to FTP our daily IPAC files to Pegasys, the FIOD team stepped in to ensure the files were FTP'd before month end. We thank each of them for their contributions.

Explore Our New NLP Demo: Transforming Language Processing at GSA!
We're thrilled to introduce our latest proof of concept demo — a front-end web application showcasing advanced natural language processing (NLP) capabilities! This user-friendly interface allows you to input text data and see the output from various AI models directly. This initiative is part of our collaboration with the chief data officer's office on a pilot project to explore AWS Sagemaker and identify a pathway for AI and machine learning.
This project supports our broader efforts around AI innovation and adoption across the organization. By serving and democratizing AI models, we ensure that everyone in the organization benefits from the models different teams are building. Our goal is to create a clear process by which anyone in the organization can deploy, host, and share their model solutions.
Explore the various NLP tools, such as sentiment analysis and text summarization. Experiment with our demo at aipoc.gsa.gov and see how these tools can benefit your work. If you have team members who can test accessing our models through programmatic access to the API endpoints, we’d love to collaborate with them! Your insights will help shape the future of our tools and technologies.
For more information or to get involved, please email Izzy Metzger.

Don't Forget! The Career Planning and Training Tool is Here to Help
The CFO Council's (CFOC) Career Planning and Training Tool has recently undergone a revision to its functionality to make it easier to identify courses that align with the CFOC’s core competencies for the financial management job series (501, 510, 511 and 565). You can start using the tool by clicking on the job series and GS-level filters. Career guidance in the form of virtual cards will display in the center of the screen and below.
Each virtual card will include information about a competency, including a general description, relevant behaviors, and proficiency levels. The cards will also contain embedded links to vendor courses that will help you master aspects of each competency. The partner vendors offer a wide array of course types and learning modalities, including on-line, on-site, hybrid, micro-learning, cohort style, and many more. These courses are available for purchase via government purchase card (note - purchases on government purchase cards are limited to $10,000; most courses are significantly less than that).
Try it today and give your professional development a boost!
