Open Season Begins on November 13th
The 2023 federal benefits open season begins Monday, November 13th and ends Monday, December 11th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
During this period, you may enroll or change your enrollment from one plan to another or from self-only to self plus one, or self and family. Open season includes the following programs:
- Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB)
- Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP)
- Federal Employees Flexible Spending Account (FSAFEDS)
Now is the time to review your health plan to decide what coverage and premium best suits your needs for the upcoming year. Be sure to check the 2024 FEHB and FEDVIP plan premiums on the OPM website. Unless you change or cancel your current enrollment in FEHB or FEDVIP, it will automatically roll over into the new 2024 plan year. However, you must re-enroll each year in FSAFEDS.
For more information about plan options, register for the Virtual Benefits Fair (live chat dates on November 14th, 17th, 30th, and December 7th). If you have questions or need assistance with enrollment, contact your benefits and retirement specialist.

Shout out to Jennifer Dunham (BGF)!
I would like to thank Jen for helping me pull over 150 certification of funds for an audit request. The task was tedious and Jen was willing to jump in and help, as always.
