FY23 Acquisition Policy & Customer Engagement Newsletter- June Edition

As of April 26th, OIA has a new Director. Maria Finan joins us from US Army Corps of Engineers, where she was a Branch Chief of their Execution Branch, at the Army Geospatial Center. In addition to Maria, Micheal Scott joined the Acquisition Operations Division, under the direction of Sharmel Lane, Division Director. He is a Contract Specialist with 13 years of experience in the 1102 field.

Positive Partnerships

OIA meets regularly with our customers. Additionally, we meet with you quarterly to discuss your procurement needs and to provide additional information and resources, as it relates to any upcoming and ongoing projects. Customer Engagement continues to offer EASi support and package submission assistance. Sustainable development requires concerted collaborative actions at all levels, so please continue to reach out with all of your procurement needs. Success is best when it's shared!

Announcements and Updates

As a reminder, most deadlines for package submissions have passed. The final deadline for Modifications to Existing Contracts/Orders Valued Below/At the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT, currently $250,000) is June 30, 2023. If you have any questions about these deadlines, please refer to the FY23 Cutoff Date Memo

If you have missed any of the deadlines listed in the Cutoff Memo, please fill out the Justification for Late Submission form and turn it into the respective Division Director and OIA Director, as soon as possible.
