September is National Insider Threat Awareness Month, which serves as a reminder to focus on the importance of detecting, deterring, and reporting insider threats.
GSA is committed to providing you with a secure workspace. Essential to that effort is making sure everyone does their part and takes the necessary steps to protect personal safety and help preserve our national security.
Safeguarding proprietary and confidential information and ensuring it is securely stored and shared, are among our most critical responsibilities as federal employees.
National Insider Threat Awareness Month emphasizes the importance of situational awareness to keep our nation and GSA safe, by mitigating the risks associated with insider threats.
While most of the agency now works remotely a majority of the time, it is imperative for us to remember that online security and awareness measures remain top priorities.
