Shout out to David Na (BIA) and James Geoghegan (BB)!
The Google Script workshop is complete and was only possible with David and Jim. Jim was crucial in thinking through how we approach the workshop and ensured we enlisted the right expertise to ensure the effort wasn't the blind leading the blind. I so greatly appreciate Jim's thoughtfulness and willingness to jump in and help for the benefit of the community.
Finally, I thank David Na for sharing his masterful knowledge of Google Scripts. We are going to miss David when he goes to NASA next month. Thank you for guiding us through the concepts in sessions 1-4 and for then demonstrating the concepts in application through sessions 5 and 6. Thank you and I can't wait to hear what you do in the coming years!

New: Continuous Leadership Journey - Public Service Motivation
This month’s CLJ provides resources to help you get and stay motivated as you serve in the public sector.
Videos Meaningful Motivators (7 minutes): When team members choose which word gives them the most meaning at work—“me,” “team,” “customer,” “company,” or “society—about 20 percent choose each word. This means that you as the leader must tell five stories at once, one for each group.
Motivate by Satisfying Psychological Needs (3 minutes): High-quality motivation comes from satisfying the three psychological needs that are foundational to all human beings.
The Neuroscience of Motivation (3 minutes): The brain responds to stimuli as threats or rewards. The threat response is five times stronger than the reward response, so threats get more attention, but also reduce creativity and collaboration. Rewards produce better, faster, and more sustainable results.
Course Managing Motivation during Organizational Change (40 minutes): A key challenge for managers is motivating and engaging employees during times of organizational change. To survive and grow in volatile markets, organizations have to embrace change; they have to innovate and adapt. In this course, you'll learn change management techniques to help you recognize and manage employee stress, as well as your own stress, during periods of change. You'll also learn about common reactions to change, and strategies for managing change to enable you to engage, motivate, and support employees.
Register to attend the April 27 facilitated discussion on public service motivation through GSA's Online University.
Reminder: GSA IT Tech Training

DocuSign - This introductory, instructor-led training consists of a slide presentation, DocuSign sending and signing demonstrations, and Q&A. Any GSA employee is welcome to attend.
