New Poll: Superb Owl Sunday!
The day that some of you have waiting for for nearly a year is almost here and, while the matchup is maybe a little surprising, it's exciting nonetheless. This week, we want to know: What's your favorite thing about the big game?
Is it the food? The commercials? The schadenfreude? Whatever it is, let us know. Respond to the poll by next Thursday, February 10, to have your vote counted. Then check back next Friday for the results. To share ideas for future polls, send us an email.

Shout out to Michael Montenegro (BGF) and Lauren Franklin (BGF)!
Just want to say how much I appreciate Mike and Lauren for taking time out of their busy day to help me with a project for one of Region 8's largest clients. I wouldn't have been able to complete this project without the help and support of both of you.

Shout out to David Na (BIA) and James Geoghegan (BB)!
HUGE thank you to James and David for their work on the Google Script Workshop series for the Analytics Community of Practice. They spent their holidays preparing a six-session series to meet an expressed request from the community to learn more about Google Scripts. They held the first successful session on February 3 to an audience of over 60 people. I cannot thank them both enough for joining this vision and their willingness to work toward advancing Google Script skills within OCFO.

Reminder: Missed Business Objects: Filtering in 15? Check Out the Training and Resource Library
The OCFO Data Delivery and Management Division recently conducted two hands-on training sessions on Business Objects reporting filtering. These courses, titled Business Objects: Filtering in 15 (minutes), were designed to see if we could provide a hands-on experience while still being virtual. We did this by limiting the time, content, and attendees. The instructor would demonstrate a concept and then the class would follow along. If anyone missed a step, screens were swapped, or questions asked to make sure everyone arrived at the same point. It went over well and early feedback has employees asking for additional topics using this hands-on experience method. The two sessions (both the same) are now posted in the OCFO Training and Resource Library.
While you’re there, be sure to check out upcoming classes (and sign up!) under the Training Events tab, including Understanding Financial Data (2/17), Introduction to PBS Business Intelligence (2/23), and Business Objects: Building Reports (3/23).

Reminder: There's a New Template in Town!
This town might not be big enough for the two of us, but the Accounting Classification Codes section on InSite keeps on growing. A new enhancement to the website is the addition of the Pegasys Accounting templates listing. This will be helpful to Pegasys users who are looking for the correct accounting template to use on their documents, or who have general questions about the templates (for example: What is active in Pegasys and what is not?). In addition to the template listing, we have provided information about:
• What the template means • How it is used • How it is set up in Pegasys
Have questions? Please contact ssocode.request@gsa.gov.
