New: Agency-wide Town Hall on Oct. 28
On Thursday, October 28, from 2–3 p.m. Eastern, join Administrator Robin Carnahan and members of GSA’s leadership at a virtual town hall to discuss GSA’s priorities in fiscal year 2022.
This event will be streamed on Google Meet. Live closed captioning will be available through FedRelay.

New: IDEA Champions Program Accepting Applications for 2021-22
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Champions Program is a new initiative offered by the Office of Civil Rights and the Office of Human Resources Management, in partnership with the senior advisor for equity. This cohort-based leadership development program — which is scheduled to kick off on December 7 — provides foundational training on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), and teaches participants diversity facilitation skills.
All are encouraged to apply. The application period closes on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, and only the first 50 complete applications will be considered. To learn more about the program, including eligibility requirements and key program dates, visit the IDEA Champions Program InSite page.

Update: Health Benefits Open Season Begins November 8
New! Plan Increases The Office of Personnel Management announced that the overall average 2022 health benefit plan premiums will increase by an average of 2.4%, the second lowest increase in 24 years. Federal dental and vision plan premiums will also see increases -- averaging .81% for dental and .95% for vision.
Benefits Fair A Virtual Benefits Fair will take place November 8–December 13. Register now to get access to plan information and brochures, visit carrier booths, watch videos, and participate in educational webinars when the fair opens on November 8.
To learn more about individual plans, visit the Virtual Benefits Fair during any one of the four live carrier chat days (Nov. 12, Nov. 19, Dec. 1, or Dec. 8) taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., EST.

Coming Soon: The 2021 Employee Viewpoint Survey
It’s that time of the year again: time to take the 2021 Employee Viewpoint Survey (EVS), administered by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The 2021 EVS will be available from November 1–December 3 to all eligible full-time and part-time GSA employees who were onboard as of April 30, 2021. Please be sure to check your email (don't forget the spam folder!) for the link from OPM.
The content of this year’s survey will be similar to 2020’s survey, with the addition of:
- Streamlined COVID-19 pandemic questions,
- Reentry items, and
- Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) questions.

New: Updates To GSA Accounting Classification Codes
Do you find yourself wondering what the "rollup" is for your particular accounting dimension? The Accounting Classification Codes listing has been updated to include this information! Sometimes referred to as the "rollup," you'll now be able to view the corresponding Category, Class, Group, and Type for Program, Organization, and Activity codes.
