Update on the Customer Reconfiguration Workflow
We’re closely monitoring the Customer OA Approval Workflow and are pleased to report that all previous system issues are resolved and we’ve found no additional issues in the workflow. OAs are moving through the process and we have seen 100+ OAs approved already. The Request Clarification and Rejection features have also been operating correctly. If you have not had a chance to review an OA yet, you can view the training on the External OASIS Site so that you are ready when OA duties call.
The PBS OASIS team wants to thank all of our customer users for your feedback and patience as we made these significant system improvements over the past few months.
In case you missed it, we also have updated FAQs for the recent reconfiguration and general OASIS questions.
Account Inactivity- Reactivation
We continue to receive questions about account deactivations. GSA IT Security requires
users to log in at least every 90 days. Accounts that have not been accessed will automatically deactivate. If your account has beendeactivated, you can email
As a best practice we suggest setting a calendar reminder for 80 days to log in to the system and keep your account activated.
OASIS Workflow Notifications
With the new reconfiguration workflow, you’ve likely noticed the homepage no longer displays in-app notifications. Notifications are now received only via email. Only Ordering Officials receive notifications, so Non-Approvers will not see these messages.
Notifications are only sent if:
An OA is ready for Approval
An OA has been Rejected
A Request For Clarification have been completed by GSA
Remember, if an Ordering Official is inactive, a notification will not be received during that period. See the Reactivation section above for information on how to resolve an inactive account. Once an Ordering Official is reactivated, any new notifications will be received.
The notification email address is Workflow Notifications <notifications@oasis.gsa.gov>. Be sure to add this address to your email contacts to avoid notifications being labeled as Spam. If you are still not receiving notifications after these updates, please check with your internal IT department to rule out any potential firewall issues.
OASIS Tips- Collapsing and Expanding Section
OASIS screens contain multiple sections for viewing data grouped in sections. These sections can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the ^ next to the section title. OASIS will remember if you’ve expanded or collapsed this section and will continue to apply that selection on subsequent records.
If you open OASIS and find fields are missing, double check the section title. Expanding the section should take care of your problem.
