Advanced Search Option Coming to SAM.gov

Starting July 31, 2023, the Integrated Award Environment (IAE) will introduce a new SAM.gov search option for users who need more ways to refine their searches.
The new search editor lets you build Boolean search phrases (advanced formulas for keywords) using terms such as “and,” “or,” “not,” “or not,” and “and not.” The search editor saves you time by letting you eliminate irrelevant results instead of manually reviewing a larger set of results to see whether they are relevant.
This update is best for those already comfortable using Boolean search terms, but anyone can try it. If this sounds confusing, don’t worry. The existing search is still available as the default way to search.
Why are we adding the search option?
Many users told us they need to refine their keyword search results and want a Boolean search tool.
What about my saved searches?
Your saved searches still work the same. You can edit saved searches and create new ones with the search editor.
What should I do now?
