Transition from OASIS Google Groups to Symphony Procurement Suite

OASIS DPA Holders and support staff,

Effective May 19, 2023, the Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories (PSHC) will make Symphony the preferred task order award and management tool for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) program.

As a result, the OASIS Google Group emails will be discontinued and only Symphony, eBuy, or GSA ASSIST may be used to solicit responses to task order requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFI), and other market research after the May 19, 2023 deadline. By using Symphony, it reduces the burden on OASIS contract holders to monitor multiple systems to respond to opportunities. Symphony will continue to import opportunities from eBuy every 24 hours. However, responses to eBuy opportunities, imported into Symphony, must be responded to in eBuy.

GSA values the IT security and procurement integrity of its customers requirements, and this shift towards more secure platforms is in support of this objective. Stricter protocols around releasing information through the various fair opportunity portals will eliminate the misuse of the email listservs (e.g., by contractors spamming OASIS vendors looking to partner, by OASIS contractors inadvertently releasing proprietary information through email group email addresses, etc.)

Symphony provides stakeholders an easy to use, highly secure, and efficient method to submit task order requests for proposals (RFPs), and capture information as a database of record. Additionally, it offers program and contract management tools that mitigate risks associated with fair opportunity by streamlining management and oversight in comparison to the OASIS Google group email list.

For OASIS customers, Symphony makes it easier to:

  • Review vendor information and capabilities
  • Submit RFIs, RFPs and amendments
  • Conduct Q&As, amendments, and monitor responses
  • Manage task orders from solicitation to task order award
  • Secure environment to release information only to OASIS Prime contract holders

To support Contracting officers in the transition to Symphony, the OASIS Program Office has scheduled four training sessions over the next several weeks.

Additional resources available to you include:

Thank you for your continued support in maintaining the reputation and credibility of OASIS as the preferred, best-in-class professional services contract of choice within the federal government. We are proud to partner with you to meet your complex professional services requirements. We are confident that Symphony will increase acquisition efficiency and transparency from start to finish.
