Join the Conservation Finance Opportunities in Sentinel Landscapes Webinar
Join the REPI Program and Sentinel Landscapes Partnership on Wednesday, December 6, from 1:00 - 2:15 PM Eastern Time for the Conservation Finance Opportunities in Sentinel Landscapes webinar.
The Sentinel Landscapes Partnership facilitates cross-agency collaboration and develops unique partnerships to implement innovative funding strategies within sentinel landscapes. During this webinar, participants will learn how the Conservation Finance Network and their key partners are helping sentinel landscapes access conservation finance technical assistance opportunities. The webinar will also feature case studies of sentinel landscapes tapping into new partnerships and sources of financing to conserve natural resources, promote economic sustainability, and enhance military missions.

The webinar will include the following speakers:
Case Study Presenters:
- Dan Calvert, Coordinator for the Joint Base Lewis McChord Sentinel Landscape, will showcase an innovative financing model in development to address seed challenges and restore prairie habitat along with supporting grassland species conservation.
- David Wolfe, Private Lands Stewardship Coordinator for the Northwest Florida Sentinel Landscape, will explore how the landscape is utilizing collaborative public and private finance strategies to promote sustainable forest economies and to protect military missions.
- Daniel Oppenheimer, Land Program Director of the Hill Country Alliance and Coordinator for the Camp Bullis Sentinel Landscape, will discuss how his sentinel landscape partners plan to use funds awarded from the 2023 America the Beautiful Challenge to prioritize on-the-ground conservation efforts.
