Please join the REPI Program and the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership on Wednesday, October 18, from 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern Time, for the Partnerships to Advance Climate Resilience in Sentinel Landscapes webinar.
Recognizing the impact of climate change-related challenges on the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership's mission of conserving natural resources, supporting agricultural and forestry economies, and strengthening military readiness, this webinar will highlight opportunities to develop climate resilience projects and integrate climate resilience planning into sentinel landscapes.
During the Partnerships to Advance Climate Resilience in Sentinel Landscapes Webinar, participants will have the opportunity to gain insights from climate resilience experts who are driving initiatives within the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership.
The event will feature the following speakers and topics:
-
Chris Baillie, Resilience Coordinator for the Eastern North Carolina Sentinel Landscape, will share insights from piloting the development of a resilience and climate adaptation plan.
-
Holly Richter, Resilience Specialist at the Fort Huachuca Sentinel Landscape and Principal at Resilient Rivers, will present a case study on adaptive management for countering extreme heat and drought.
-
Jaime Simon, Director of External Affairs and Communications for the REPI Program, will moderate the webinar.
