 Issue 3.8, September 2023
The Integrated Food Management System (IFMS) project team was pleased to participate in the annual National Association of Food Distribution Programs on Indian Reservations (NAFDPIR) Conference in Kansas City, MO, in August 2023.
The team hosted an IFMS lab to meet with IFMS users, answer any questions, and provide IFMS training handouts featuring upcoming enhancements and frequently asked questions (FAQs). The team enjoyed meeting with everyone that attended the conference.

Release 2.3.2 - FDPIR Guide Rate Enhancements
As of September 1, 2023, IFMS was updated with the FDPIR monthly distribution guide rate changes per the table below:

IFMS updates include:
- Vegetables and Fruit & Juice exchange removed.
- Vegetables and Fruit & Juice are now listed as separate categories rather than sub-categories of the former Fruit & Vegetables category.
- Removed grain category and sub-categories. There are now three separate categories: Hot & Cold Cereal; Cornmeal & Flour; Rice, Pasta, Crackers & Tortillas.
- Increased monthly allowances for Eggs; Meats, Poultry, Fish; and Vegetables.
- Updated Issuance and Inventory data entry screens, monthly shopping lists, and Food Package selections reflecting the new category structure.

Household Certification Rights and Responsibilities
ITOs should contact their Regional Office for specific policy information regarding rights and responsibilities.
Tailgate Operations
ITOs interested in resuming or beginning tailgate operations in IFMS can contact the Transition Team for more information.
Funding Requests
Please contact your FNS Regional Office to request funding for the purchase of scanners, extra monitors, or any other equipment needed to support IFMS.
eAuth Transition to Login.gov
eAuth is partnering with Login.gov to provide its customers with multi-factor authentication (MFA) login options for secure access to USDA sites, including IFMS. The transition is currently planned for the evening of September 11, 2023. The Transition Team will provide updated training materials and a new QRG to assist new users with these login changes.

Training Requests
Need IFMS Training? The ITO IFMS Support Program offers training opportunities for the IFMS user community in the form of new staff member training, refresher training, release enhancement updates, and advanced topics.
ITOs can request a range of topic-specific user trainings for their ITO staff using the IFMS Training Request Form. Training is available for existing as well as new users or those switching roles. Completed forms should be submitted to the IFMS Transition Team.
