Each year in the first week of August, National WIC Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week to promote breastfeeding as the best source of nutrition for a baby.

Join FNS to hear lessons learned from the WIC Breastfeeding Support: "Learn Together. Grow Together.” campaign and social media best practices, as well as other strategies to promote breastfeeding. All WIC staff are encouraged to attend.

Those who breastfeed may wonder if they're making enough milk for their baby. This quiz reviews signs of a low milk supply and some strategies for increasing it.

Immunization Webinar for WIC Staff

September 6, 2023 August is National Immunization Month.  In observance, our partners Vaccinate Your Family, the National WIC Association, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, are hosting a webinar to discuss the importance of vaccinations, vaccine recommendations for children and pregnant women, answers to common vaccine questions, and more. Once available, we'll add a link to the recorded webinar for anyone who was unable to attend.
