Greetings from the NCO Team.
Through The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the NITRD Wireless Spectrum Research and Development Interagency Working Group (WSRD IWG), released the National Spectrum Research and Development Plan. This plan has identified key innovation areas for spectrum research. Thank you to the entire interagency working group for their dedication to finishing this document. We invite you to read the plan here.
The NITRD NCO team will attend and exhibit at The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC24) next month in Atlanta, Ga. In addition to exhibiting and public outreach, we will be hosting two IWG meetings. For those attending, we look forward to connecting with you in person at the NITRD booth.

On behalf of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), the NITRD National Coordination Office (NCO) seeks public input for the creation of a National Plan for Cyber-Physical Systems Resilience Research. The goal of the plan is to shape a whole-of-government research and development (R&D) plan related to cyber-physical resilience across systems that may be local, regional, or national in scope. Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before 11:59 p.m. ET on October 26, 2024.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are soliciting proposals from small business concerns that possess the research and development (R&D) expertise to conduct innovative research that will contribute toward NIH or CDC mission needs and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program objectives. Big Data Interagency Working Group (IWG)
The Big Data (BD) Interagency Working Group (IWG) coordinates Federal R&D to enable effective analysis, decision-making, and discovery based on large, diverse, real-time data. LSDMA R&D expands big data, data science capabilities to collect, store, access, reuse, analyze, and provide governance for big data accelerating scientific discovery and innovation, providing the foundation for algorithm-driven businesses, and creating new capabilities critical to the nation.
