VAEB - Announcements: U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia: Return to In-Person Hearings and Related Information
U.S. Courts sent this bulletin at 02/15/2023 04:24 PM ESTPlease be advised that all Divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia will return to in-person hearings for all matters scheduled to be heard on or after June 1, 2023. Consistent with the Court’s return to in-person operations, the Court will be evaluating all districtwide and divisional hearing protocols and pandemic-related operational changes currently in effect to determine which procedures, if any, will be retained. Upon completion of this process, the Court will enter a districtwide standing order(s) memorializing the Court’s resumption of in-person hearings and other procedural changes. Pursuant to General Order 23-3, entered by the Judges of the Richmond Division on February 15, 2023, the procedures instituted by Richmond General Order 23-2 will cease to apply to pleadings filed after May 31, 2023.
