OKNB - News and Announcements - NextGen CM/ECF (ACTION NEEDED)

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma is upgrading its Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System ("CM/ECF") software to the Next Generation ("NextGen") of CM/ECF in less than 2 weeks.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1. The Oklahoma Northern Bankruptcy Court's CM/ECF System will be unavailable for electronic filing Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM (CDT) through Monday, September 27, 2021 at 8:00 AM (CDT) in order to upgrade the CM/ECF System.  During this time, electronic filers ("e-filers") will NOT be able to electronically file documents in CM/ECF and should plan accordingly.

2. Prepare NOW for NextGen:  NextGen will allow e-filers to use a single account to view documents in PACER and to electronically file documents in CM/ECF.  All e-filers must obtain their own PACER account.  PACER accounts created prior to August 11, 2014 must be upgraded in order to link it to a CM/ECF account.  Visit the Court's NextGen Information Page on the Court's website (www.oknb.uscourts.gov) for important information regarding PACER actions that can be done now to prepare for linking a PACER account to a CM/ECF account on Monday, September 27, 2021.

3.  NextGen Training Video: The PowerPoint Presentation and a recording of the NextGen Training Session held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 are now available on the Court's NextGen Information Page.  The Court apologizes for the technical issues that occurred during the training and has recorded a new presentation.

4. Linking PACER Accounts to NextGen:  E-filers will not be able to electronically file in NextGen until their CM/ECF account is linked to their individual PACER account.  Linkage cannot take place until after the Court upgrades to NextGen.  Visit the Court's NextGen Information Page on Monday, September 27, 2021 for important information regarding linking a PACER account to a CM/ECF account.
