 FDA Expert Panel on Infant Formula Invitation

As part of the Trump Administration’s commitment to transform American health care and rebuild trust in public health, the FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H., will lead a roundtable discussion of an independent panel of scientific experts to discuss the latest science on infant nutrition.
You are invited to attend this public roundtable on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. ET. This roundtable will follow a transparent process grounded in gold standard science, setting precedents for future discussions.
The expert panel discussion will take place at the FDA’s White Oak Campus, 10903 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, 20993, in the Great Room. The public and members of the media may attend the event. The session will be livestreamed.
Journalists and media representatives attend FDA Expert Panel events. They may photograph or record audio/video of sessions and presentation slides for accurate reporting. The FDA also livestreams these panels on its social media channels.
Please plan to arrive by at least 9:30 a.m. (30 min early) to allow for enough time to park your vehicle, get on the campus shuttle, and get through security screening. If you are planning to use a taxi, rideshare or car service, you will not have to take the campus shuttle and can be dropped off directly in front of Building 1.
