Medical Device Sterilization Town Hall: FDA Activities and Challenges in Reducing Reliance on Ethylene Oxide (EtO)

Join the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA), January 26, 2024, for the Medical Device Sterilization Town Hall: FDA Activities and Challenges in Reducing Reliance on Ethylene Oxide. 

During this second in a series of medical device sterilization town halls, we will discuss the challenges and opportunities switching from EtO to other sterilization methods, the need for forward-looking collaborative activities to support reduced EtO use while assuring patients have access to medical devices, and the creation of a dedicated EtO Tiger Team to advance innovations in medical device sterilization.
