Getinge Recalls CARDIOHELP Emergency Drive due to an Impaired or Inability to Turn the Drive
Getinge is recalling the CARDIOHELP Emergency Drive as it can become stuck or difficult to turn due to friction being generated in the handle attachment. The affected Emergency Drives need to be returned to Getinge for repair. Getinge will supply loaner replacements where needed.
The FDA has identified this as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall. Use of these devices may cause serious injuries or death.
