Updates to the Medtronic HeartWare HVAD System web page
Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) updated the web page about the Medtronic HeartWare Ventricular Assist Device (HVAD) System.
The FDA is enhancing user access to understandable science-based information about the HVAD System safety issues and recalls, to help patients and health care providers use the website to make health care decisions to improve patients’ health and quality of life.
