Achieving Zero Food Waste: State Policy Toolkit and EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants
September 13, 2023
2:00 PM Eastern Time
This one-hour webinar will cover EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants, a new resource called Achieving Zero Food Waste: A State Policy Toolkit, and how you can include food waste reduction in climate action plans.
EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants, funded by the Inflation Reduction Act, provide support for states and metropolitan areas to reduce climate pollution. The State Policy Toolkit contains a range of policy opportunities that states can use to prevent food waste and keep it out of landfills and incinerators, helping reduce methane emissions. The toolkit provides examples of wasted food actions that communities can incorporate into their climate action plans.
The webinar is hosted by EPA, the West Coast Climate and Materials Management Forum, and the Zero Food Waste Coalition. Register now.
