Funding Opportunity Available to Manage Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units (PEHSUs)
The Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) announced a $14M funding opportunity to serve as the PEHSUs’ National Program Office for three years.
As the National Program Office, the award recipient would manage day-to-day operations of the national PEHSU network and work collaboratively with each regional PEHSU to maintain and strengthen effectiveness of the PEHSU network, execute program strategies, and achieve desired outcomes.
This funding opportunity will build upon established PEHSUs capabilities and reaffirm and strengthen collaboration between ATSDR, EPA, and the PEHSUs National Program Office.
Applications are due May 7, 2024.

The Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units (PEHSUs) are a national network of experts in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of health issues that arise from environmental exposures from preconception through adolescence.
The PEHSUs are jointly supported by ATSDR and EPA.
