Each year the intensity and frequency of some emergencies continues to increase. These include wildfires, extreme heat, dust storms, hurricanes, floods, and prolonged power outages. Many of these emergencies can affect the quality of the air we breathe and our health. It is very important to know how to protect ourselves before, during and after an emergency.
EPA's Office of Indoor Environments, whose primary goal is to improve indoor air quality where people live, learn and work, is hosting this Spanish webinar on emergencies and indoor air quality.
The seminar is divided into two parts of approximately half an hour each. The first part will be on floods and prolonged power outages and the second part on wildfires.
We encourage you to register for this webinar tailored to Spanish speakers. Spread the word and send information about the event to your colleagues and friends who may be interested in the topic. Be prepared and ready to deal with any emergency and protect your health and that of your family.
