2022 Efficient and Healthy Schools Webinar Series Friday, May 6, 2022 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM ET The Environmental Protection Agency invites you to join our partners at U.S. Department of Energy and Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory for a webinar series sharing energy efficiency and indoor air quality (IAQ) best practices to help school districts improve their facilities. As part of the Efficient and Healthy Schools Campaign, this webinar series provides an opportunity for peer learning and technical exchange among schools and stakeholders. The campaign provides access to experts, tools, and resources for schools to get started or further improve monitoring and analytics for HVAC performance. The first webinar in the series, Ongoing Monitoring and Analytics for HVAC Performance, will feature two awardees from the campaign’s recognition program that are also IAQ Tools for Schools Program mentor districts!
Presenters will also include campaign staff and technical experts, who will share best practices for using energy management and information systems (EMIS) to improve HVAC performance and operation through fault detection and diagnostics, benchmarking, and commissioning. The Efficient and Healthy Schools campaign is an effort led by the Department of Energy with support from Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory and EPA as an organizing partner. The campaign is aimed at engaging K-12 schools in effort to improve energy performance and IAQ with, a particular focus on practical solutions involving HVAC and other technologies to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
