Administrator Zeldin Highlights EPA’s Actions to Put American Farmers First in Visit to Iowa
On Sunday, Administrator Zeldin was in Altoona, Iowa, where he visited Summit Products to discuss how EPA has been rapidly implementing our February RIGHT TO REPAIR Guidance and President Trump's recent FREEDOM TO FIX Memorandum. From ensuring Iowa farmers and equipment operators can repair their own equipment in far less time AND at cheaper cost, to our recent decision to grant SEMA third-party certification authority over after-market parts, EPA will continue doing everything we can to support Iowa and America's farmers, truckers, car enthusiasts, and others.
While in Iowa, Administrator Zeldin also unveiled a key proposal that follows through on our commitment to help open new markets for American farmers. Read more about Administrator Zeldin’s travels to Iowa.

On Tuesday, Administrator Zeldin was back in America’s Dairyland at the sixth generation Tranel Family Farms in Cuba City, Wisconsin, alongside Congressman Derrick Van Orden. EPA’s work reversing Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) deratements, restoring the Right to Repair, and applying common sense to environmental regulation were all front and center topics throughout the visit.
