Visits EPA Roundtable in New Hampshire and Discusses State’s Request to End Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program

On Wednesday, Administrator Zeldin landed in Manchester, New Hampshire, to begin a week-long EPA swing through New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Arizona, and New Mexico. His first stop on the agenda included meeting with New Hampshire officials about the state’s request to EPA to end NH’s vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program. EPA has proposed approval of their request and is pledging to finalize a formal decision by the end of 2026. Later that day, Administrator Zeldin toured the Cemetery Brook Drain Tunnel Project, which is modernizing the city’s aging sewer system and helping prevent sewage from entering the Merrimack River.

Every day, they are advancing consequential policies to make our families stronger, healthier, and more enduring. On Tuesday, Administrator Zeldin delivered remarks during a panel discussion at the second annual MAHA Summit.
