EPA is leading the way on eliminating animal testing by embracing cutting-edge, gold standard science like never before. Yesterday, we unveiled two scientific advancements that will allow EPA to more accurately predict inhalation and oral risks from certain chemicals and pesticides, and we’ll be able to do it in significantly less time than it takes to conduct an animal study.

Administrator Zeldin Discusses NESE Pipeline’s Success at Energy Affordability Roundtable in NY
Thanks to robust efforts from the federal government, not only have all permits been secured for the NESE pipeline to deliver natural gas to over 2 million downstate New Yorkers, but ground has already been broken, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. Administrator Zeldin was in Nassau County, New York, on Wednesday where local leaders have been working hard with the Trump Administration to deliver affordable natural gas to Long Island families and businesses.
