From Breitbart News: “Exclusive — EPA Chief Lee Zeldin to Boost Reshoring, Manufacturing, AI Development by Streamlining Permitting”
On Monday, Administrator Zeldin signed a new proposed definition of “Begin Actual Construction”, allowing Americans to begin building projects that are essential for power generation, data centers, and manufacturing. The proposal also reaffirms the agency’s commitment to commonsense, streamlined permitting reform, and returns regulatory certainty to American companies. U.S. Continues Accelerated Push to Unleash American Energy Dominance
As more nations around the world work to diversify their energy supply chain, they are turning to the United States. As President Trump unleashes our domestic energy supply, it’s not just good for American consumers, but also for our economy and national security, as it positions us to export more than ever before. EPA is also working to unleash American energy dominance through Pillar 2 of our Powering the Great American Comeback initiative. These efforts are also good for our environment because we tap into these supplies so much better than so many other countries do elsewhere around the world.
On Thursday, Administrator Zeldin joined Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria to discuss how EPA is Powering the Great American Comeback. Watch the full interview.
Administrator Zeldin Touts Incredible Efforts of EPA Employees During Congressional Budget Hearings
EPA’s ability to carry out our core mission of protecting human health and the environment and delivering clean air, land, and water for every American would not be possible without the amazing efforts of the incredibly dedicated and experienced employees across our agency.
Over the course of the last three weeks, Administrator Zeldin has testified before four separate Congressional committees regarding EPA’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget. On many occasions, Administrator Zeldin took every opportunity to praise the impressive work being conducted by talented career scientists and employees throughout EPA, whose efforts are necessary and important to fulfilling our core mission, following our statutory obligations, and Powering the Great American Comeback.
