Administrator Zeldin Joins Vice President Vance in Michigan
On Wednesday, Administrator Zeldin was in Oakland County, Michigan, alongside Vice President Vance and the Second Lady, discussing EPA activities from this past year.
During Administrator’s Tokyo Visit, U.S. Companies Secure Over $56 Billion in Investment at Inaugural Indo-Pacific Energy Security Summit
Massive energy deal after deal was struck in Tokyo last weekend at the White House’s National Energy Dominance Council led forum, with more than $56 BILLION in new Indo-Pacific investments secured with U.S. companies. The federal government is working extensively on many new energy projects across the country, ramping up LNG pipeline projects, small modular nuclear reactors, coal, and baseload power. The potential is limitless and ground is being broken nationwide.
After Rapid Repair to Potomac Interceptor, EPA’s Jess Kramer Leads Press Conference Detailing Environmental Remediation and Water Quality Sampling Efforts
Working closely with DC Water, and under President Trump’s orders, the federal government delivered on our promise to fix the Potomac Interceptor by Mid-March. However, EPA is not taking its foot off the gas, and we will continue working hard until environmental remediation is complete. On Tuesday, Senior Response Officer and Assistant Administrator for Water Jess Kramer led a press conference at the repair site alongside officials from DC Water, the District of Columbia, U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the U.S. National Park Service (NPS). Jess Kramer announced the restoration of wastewater flow through the Potomac Interceptor, and detailed steps EPA will be taking to reach complete environmental remediation, which includes taking over water quality sampling at the site. Read more updates on EPA's response.
