Administrators Zeldin and Loeffler Travel to Los Angeles to Help Fast Track the Post-Wildfire Rebuild

Victims of the Palisades and Eaton fires last year lost everything. Working with them to rebuild their homes, business, community, and lives has been a top priority for the Trump Administration since the moment the President was sworn back into office. Administrator Zeldin was proud to be back in Los Angeles on Wednesday to double down on efforts to help break through whatever local logjams are still delaying the rebuild following the January 2025 wildfires. We will not rest until Los Angeles is fully rebuilt!

Administrator Zeldin Returns to San Diego as Efforts Continue to End the Tijuana Raw Sewage Crisis

The decades old Tijuana River Sewage Crisis has ruined quality of life and devastated small businesses in the San Diego area. Since his first visit to San Diego as EPA Administrator last spring, EPA secured a new binding agreement with Mexico to implement a permanent, 100% solution to the decades old Tijuana River Sewage Crisis. On top of last year’s successfully fast-tracked completion of upgraded capacity at the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant, MANY Mexico side infrastructure projects are slated for completion with expedited timelines in 2026 and 2027 (with one in 2028) to fully implement the agreement and solution. With these projects slated for completion in the coming years, residents finally see the end in sight.
EPA Advances American Farmers’ Right to Repair Their Own Equipment

Farmers shouldn’t need permission to fix equipment they already own. The Clean Air Act (CAA) was written to ensure clean air, not lock farmers into expensive repairs. There will be no more misuse of the CAA by manufacturers. EPA GUIDANCE ISSUED: If you own farm or other nonroad diesel equipment, you have the RIGHT TO REPAIR it!
EPA is proud to advance commonsense policies that follow the law and allow our great farmers to continue providing food and resources that power our communities. Read more here.
