Challenging the Status Quo of Reckless Spending

Administrator Zeldin Welcomes Rabbi Levi Shemtov of DC Chabad to Affix a Mezuzah in His Office and Inscribe a Portion of the Torah
Last Thursday, Rabbi Levi Shemtov of Washington, D.C.’s Chabad was welcomed into EPA headquarters to perform a mezuzah ceremony and inscribe a portion of the Torah in Administrator Zeldin’s office. After the mezuzahs were affixed to the doorposts, a special passage with relevance to the agency’s core mission of protecting human health and the environment was inscribed into the new Torah scroll being written in D.C. Administrator Zeldin is the first Jewish Administrator of the EPA.
