On August 11, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Critical Materials Collaborative will convene stakeholders from industry, the U.S. National Laboratories, and academia for a workshop on domestic critical minerals and materials supply chains. The discussion will underscore the role critical minerals and materials play in achieving American energy dominance and inform attendees on DOE’s strategies and programming to secure domestic, resilient critical minerals and materials supply chains.
Featuring speakers from several DOE offices and DOE-funded performers, the workshop will cover DOE’s critical minerals and materials programs and highlight exemplary projects that are advancing key technologies and processes. The virtual workshop will offer participants an opportunity to respond to a series of questions that will help inform DOE of the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing the critical minerals and materials sector.
