Final Rule Pertaining to Standards for

On January 8, 2025, DOE issued a final agency action pertaining to energy conservation standards for expanded scope electric motors. This final rule pertaining to expanded scope electric motors has been scheduled for publication in the Federal Register on January 22, 2025.
- The effective date of this final rule is April 7, 2025.
- Compliance with the amended standards established for expanded scope electric motors in this final rule will be required beginning January 1, 2029.
