DOE also announced the Clean Energy Connector pilot expansion to include three new states: Massachusetts, Maryland, and Rhode Island. Local LIHEAP program administrators in these states, as well as Washington, D.C., New Mexico, and Illinois, can now leverage the Connector to assist low-income households with home energy costs. Interested community solar subscription managers and local LIHEAP agencies in these states should contact their state community solar program and state LIHEAP agencies to learn more about joining the pilot.Â
