Sandia National Laboratories' Drop Tower and Water Impact test facility is conducting tests on low-cost, environment-friendly torpedo anchors for marine energy applications, developed and 3D-printed by clean-tech company Sperra. Watch Sandia’s team drop the prototype into a sand-and-water-filled culvert that simulates the seabed conditions off Oregon’s coast.
